Actually very timely to have 2MP available this week.

OUT - Edwards (injured), Menzie, Hobbs
IN - 2MP, Perkins, Tsatas.

I would say Prior out, but don’t particularly want Shiel moving back. Not sure.

Very unlikely Wright comes straight back into the AFL surely, he was awful in preseason no?

Carlton respond in the first half

Was noted in the report today that Parish and Wright will both be playing in the VFL pracccy match this weekend.

They were a great team of players with a lacklustre coach who happened to be in the right place at the right time. With a good coach they would have won more. Plus they had a power forward, Tom McDonald, in their flag year. He got injured the year after and has never got back to that power forward position

Other than Lever, who is obviously hugely important for them, the Dees don’t seem to have anyone else of note out:

Judd McVee gave Stringer a horrible hiding last year.

Yeah it’s just Lever & McVee missing from their best side - potentially also the 3 gamer Lindsay if he doesn’t get up.

Hopefully Melb don’t learn from last week and bring the forward (Sparrow I think) up to the stoppage to tag Merrett cos they will dump kick to Ridley all night.

Momentum gathering about Fritsch maybe being dropped……hope so cos we could def run a guy like him into form!!

A bit cooler. Still mid 20s which is warm for footy…

We’ve solved that issue

And are playing beautifully at the moment.

We are a good chance this weekend but damn they are some juicy odds for Melbourne.

We masters of making players for opposition sides who have been flat bounce back to their best. Baily Fritch will kick 4.

I was keen on a Bombers win last week, but geez, I dunno.
Port were atrocious against the Saints, this has tempered my view of our win.
Caldwell has been our most important player so far this year (alongside Zac), and is irreplaceable.
Demons 0/4, have absolutely nothing to lose, except their coach, and you would expect will throw everything at us to get the win.

Petracca in tears after last weeks game, if that doesn’t fire the dee’s up- nothing will

I think they will beat us comfortably tbh.

Caldwell is a huge loss in midfield.

Why would anyone whinge about a win against Melbourne when we have their first rounder?

It helps us both on and off the field to win this week. Which is precisely why we will lose
