Melbourne are just as ■■■■

We all know Scott by now - absolute minimum changes.

Out : Edwards (injured), Caldwell (injured).
In: Perkins and Tsatas.

If he plays Lav it will be at Prior’s expense.

The only other question still to be answered is who the Sub will be.

My guess is Jaxon Prior (or LAV) for Sub.

I’m led to believe we are the only club not having an open training. We are running a clinic on Sunday aswell as a few media guest appearances

They always say you play how you train. What is the problem with this team?

As long as they perform on game day don’t think it matters

Substituted the open training session with paper plane making.

We are the paper planes

The only thing surprising about that is that the paper plane making doesn’t have a sponsor

A little disappointed, and worried about the training notes… Oh well.

I’ll head over on Friday Arvo and take some photos, try to share them here

Where are the goals?

It’ll be pretty warm over there even in the evening.
So its important we have plenty of run on ball all night. Brad will likely hang tough with Prior but I can see both Archie and Elijah staright back in.

If Darcy’s been looking OK at training I’d like to see him included as sub. Barring an injury elsewhere, he’d be a great option to swap in for say a tiring Shiel or Hobbs anytime into the 3rd and thereafter. Keep the pressure at stoppages and clearances up will be key to wearing the Dees down and winning.

OUT: Caldwell Menzie Edwards

E: Lav Menzie ADW 2MP

P.S. Zach and Duz hold the key. They’ll be busy that’s for sure. Reckon they’ll tag Zach tbh.

Sub Menzie or Jones

I’m getting the feeling that these are the only viable changes we have. With the VFL bye there’s a lack of options to assess. Most of the guys were very good against Port, so it’s not like wholesale changes were required.

As long as Saad is nowhere near sub I’d be comfortable, he should be in the starting list, even if on the bench for first bounce.

This always confuses me…am I right in saying El-Hawli being sub last game means he needs to be an “in” as well this weekend if selected in starting squad?

Now they have 23 man squads I don’t think that applies anymore.

Dees one win

I would absolutely take Lav over Prior. Prior isn’t a strong defender — he should be playing on the wing, not as a medium-sized defender.

In: Lav, Tsatas, Perk
Out: Prior, Cald and Edwards

Sub: Saad
