I don’t think we need to tank, we’re awful enough as it is, but dropping the next two is going to put us in the box seat for the wooden spoon (boo!) but also the first crack at the draft (not so boo!) …
We’ve already given our closest rival for this a win on Friday night. If we can give our two other rivals a win, it would be handy for us … even at this relatively early stage.
Richmond & West Coast have played well enough in the last month, even in some losses, to prove they have another win or two in them in 2026. Us? Not so sure.

Also - I believe that Caldwell will be named and if he is even only 40% fit, Brad will play him.

He shouldn’t of even been playing on Friday Night. But you don’t need an IQ of 170 to work out why.
The hysterical reaction from some of our fans as to why we don’t have 25 indigenous players on our list is baffling. Like there is some unadvertised quota we need to adhere to…

I have us playing 3 small forwards - Gresham, Nguyen and El-Ackar
but nguyen could also go to defence if needed.

but it’s getting to the stage where bring in jones off a poor vfl game, debut gerryn, or bring in a irish kid after 2 vfl games if make another change.
