Definitely.
But ADW for Gresham is pretty much a straight swap. Unless Kako or Hobbs are injured.
It indicates you believe a win over the WB’s doesn’t mean that much this week, at least for our prospects this season.
Do the dogs even have 3 talls up forward? I’m not sure Lav is even needed from purely match up point of view?
With no VFL game on the weekend, how do you not have Tsatas in the team? I honestly think he is finished at Essendon, and i don’t blame him at all when he chooses to leave
There is a big difference between the magoo’s and the seniors.
Matthew Nichols is umpiring.
Thoughts and prayers for us.
First D’Ambrosio, next Tsatas.
can’t say that thrilled with the changes, Back to conservative Brad.
Is it the first time that Angus Clarke named in emergencies?
Caldwell on Libba, Duz on Bont. It worked wonders last time we met. Setterfield playing ok still, can understand the reluctance to change the mid setup too much - but it is really disappointing he wasn’t selected on the back of his recent form in the 2’s.
Would have liked Tsatas in, Hobbs sub, Shiel VFL.
And maybe Johnson just needs another game in the 2’s, he has the form leading up to last week though so that’s a shame. Would have much preferred him over Laverde despite his stats from the Swans VFL game.
Funny seeing the melts in here if Hayes didn’t get injured there would have been no changes.
Lav is a depth player now and has come in for that reason
Sub won’t be Saad or ADW.
We have the extra mid and 3 on the pine. Will be one of Shiel or Hobbs. Hopefully Shiel.
how do you see him stiffening up the defence under pressure, when he makes dumb decisions and has ■■■■ skill and will put them under more pressure cos of that ?
The guy has a football IQ the size of an empty peanut, i’m actually surprised he figures out how to get to a game, let alone tie his own shoe laces
I haven’t read the comments from 6.25, but I can guess.
Why did Brad need to select LAV at all ?
If Hayes was not injured, he would have played because we’re developing youth.
We all understand we don’t need to be that tall.
Again, why do we need LAV when we have plenty enough height in defence ?
Could have debuted another kid.
What if he plays a big part in us beating the Dogs?
Tim English could go forward also Bont
Bont plays more of a secondary role in the midfield.
They prioritise Libba and Richards.
Then split another spot between Bont and Matt Kennedy.
Freijah gets a few more.
I think it’s Libba to Merrett. Durham will switch with him from time to time. Caldwell to Richards.
Setterfield to Bont or Kennedy when he’s there.
Shiel will take the scraps. Whether that’s when Freijah is there or not, is unsure. So he’s likely to spend time on Kennedy too.
The interesting thing would be who takes Bont when he’s in the forward line. It’ll probably be Redman as we’d prefer to free up Reid like we did last week to play on one of their smaller forwards. So McKay takes Naughton. Laverde takes Khamis who will probably try and get the Reid matchup and drag him away from the contest. That leaves Reid on Davidson.
LAV hitting targets outta the backline all night long. You beauty.
Can’t see how English spends much time forward at all.
LAV is a reasonable match up for Bont.
I don’t see the point though.
For clarification.
LAV lifts us up where we belong.
Who is sub do we think!?
Shiel back to back?
