Changes vs Bulldogs 2025

Hobbs.

Imagine how Lav must feel knowing for once he’s not having to play on someone 10cm taller than him. If Reid plays and Lav is on the 3-4th tall he will be serviceable. At least he won’t take ■■■■ if someone is in the face of McGrath, Roberts, Merrett etc.

Lav is depth and that’s what he’s being used as.

Brad is probably trying to keep the same structure, hence Lav in for Hayes.

Team continuity is not a bad thing and although I would like to see Tsatas in I imagine he will be getting a big session in, same as Parish, which will be more beneficial for his fitness than 60% game time or the sub role

Genuinely finished is a tad too melodramatic.

Sorry captain, he might leave

I like the match up of McGrath on West.

Prior on Harmes concerns me

Prior on Bont (when he plays forward) ?

Hate how conservative we are with holding emergencies over for the AFL. Most weeks our most promising VFL player misses a game due to the very slim that they will get an AFL call up.

Last week Sydney played all of their emergencies in the VFL. Instead, we have Johnson playing no football for a fortnight. In the unlikely event he was needed last week, he could have been sub. Logan Morris debuted after a full game and a couple of Big Macs FFS.

Lav to give bulldogs at least 3 goals

Who is the dogs 2nd ruck

You watch make Artie Jones look like an A grade superstar this week.
Much like we did Dylan Stephens for norf a couple of weeks ago

Khamis lately.

Not sure why any surprise on changes

Brad noted was the best we’d played all season, whilst faded late the first half domination got us into a winning position

Forced change aside team stays as is

Hayes out, Lav in maintains the structure.

Whilst Dogs don’t play tall Lav isn’t actually a genuine tall anyway at 193cm. And Dogs rotate Bont who’s 194cm and Kennedy who’s 190cm through the fwd/mid position. Both very solidly built. I’d much rather Lav against Bont than Prior or Redman.

Given the injuries to Ridley & Hayes the McKay/Reid/Lav combo is how it’s going to have to be for season ongoing.

If Shiel does stay as sub it’s as he is a dynamic player with flexibility to play multiple roles.

So Ginby will clock up 50 games this round while Tsatas is stuck on 11 and can’t get a game whilst players like Shiel take his place. I know he had a knee injury and missed games but that’s just completely ■■■■■■.

Why would he leave? Whose midfield is he going to walk into?

Let him develop in the VFL, improve his kicking and come in when there is a spot for him.

Omg… Nicholls and Rodger umpiring… double bald act… we are done.

There would be 17 clubs enquiring, and most of those offering him guaranteed spots in the 22.
