Finish us RADelaide
What days are training this week?
I’ve run the ladder predictor several times today with lots of different (relatively expected) scenarios (not stupid ideas like Eagles going to beat Cats in Geelong) , and with our woeful % the equation is becoming clearer…
0 wins = 12-13th
1 win = 10-12th
2 wins = 9th-11th
3 wins should see us play finals.
4 wins should see us with a home elim final.
5 wins would see a double chance.
6 wins - can’t get higher than 3rd
I know I’m getting stupidly ahead of myself, assuming the Crows, Saints and Suns are wins, I feel the Freo game is going to be the big one. The winner of that gets to play at home first week.
If you say so sir
It makes perfect sense that 3 wins will get us into the finals because if we can’t beat those 3 then we don’t deserve to be playing finals and it’d be a waste of time
Roberts in for Heppell
Goldie in for Wright
Hobbs in for Perkins
Lav in for Cox
Although I’m not a fan yet I think we need to play a Davey
I don’t know why you’d bother. Upsets actually eventuate rendering these ladder predictions just fantasy.
I think you are right. I can’t even believe I am saying it.
i know your not a fan but his pace would make a difference i know he isn’t a pure crumbing small forward but at this stage Gresh and Gulf arent really doing it either
All i know is that there is a need to make an adjustment in the forward line as it just is not working
Also for the love of god play Martin Forward!
I’ll never forget that goal Hooker kicked near the boundary around the 50m line, when he motioned Colyer to shepherd for him.
We were coming at them in the 3rd qtr.
An exciting goal.
I agree we need some speed. It’s the fact they are soft that bothers me, but as you said, something needs to give.
I see what people mean by ADJ avoids contact i dont really see him as a contested player but he does need to be more physical when it comes to tackling out of 50
But i think he has weapons offensively he just needs confidence and learn how to use them
Hobbs for perkins
Roberts for cox
Laverde for heppell
3 of the fkn easiest changes you could ever make. But really, itll be goldy for caddy
He’s all about the perceived pressure. Chases after someone then stops when he gets there. Doesn’t really look to tackle.
No it wouldn’t. It’d be so essendon to win it
His perceived pressure is quite good its just that last part like you said he needs to want to tackle he did one in that Swans game when he came in as the sub and it was great just needs to do it more
It’s funny, Rutten wanted “Blue Collar” Scott “Essendon Edge”, but the players feel safe taking the easy way out.
i’m still mad about that to this day
imagine having to verbally remind someone mid-game that it’s a team sport
Do you remember in 2022 when we versed West Coast down here in Perth at Optus i hope you were there at that game cause i was and that was the most Essendon thing i had ever seen
