Jon Ralp said Jones will be fine an play next week no concussion or anything

Fair enough. His last quarter was good and as much as I like Perkins, you aren’t going to be relying on him to be be the star runner in the 4th. He was very ordinary to half time though.

opposition teams dont go through duursma’s wing much that is invaluable

His pressure was immense on Elliot where he ended up kicking it straight to an Essendon player in defense I love him.

Yep, fairly poor first half but kept fighting and really turned it around.
Recall him laying a big tackle on the wing which I think resulted in a goal, or at least a shot.

Definitely want to see Perk and Tsatas back in, just not entirely sure where to fit them in.
Perks start to the year was fantastic

In the words of the Twelfth Man, he copped one indanaz

This will be an interesting test and a good window to the mentality of this team. We’ve started underdogs 6 games in a row and I think the team quite like not having the pressure on us.

Next week will be a different test.

Hobbs getting less minutes than the bloke we subbed off also makes little sense

not as much he is more fringe and struggled to impact today, wont be surprised if he is dropped. And I’m a Hobbs believer. But Perkins likely takes his midfield rotation and a more dangerous forward.

I’m not sure he even had a midfield rotation today.
0 CB attendances. Did drift up a fair bit but thought he’d just come up from HF.

Perkins definitely a better choice at this stage, In both positions.

But it’s odd for a small bloke to only play half a game on the field

With as much gusto as Kramer?

Depends…are you gonna go all Jackie Chiles on me?

I think resting Goldy is probably the right call. By far the oldest in the team. Then again, we do have 9 day break. Undecided.

Brad Scott RE: Harry Jones …

ā€œNo fracture. He’s fine. No concussion. They cleared him. It was a difficult one but with 16 minutes left in the last quarter we just had to sub himā€

Do we know if Jones was subbed because his nose was too stuffed to sort out in 15 minutes? Or did he fail a concussion test? If doesn’t make it, the Guelfi comes in or Caddy if he is good enough in VFL.
