He’s been great all year - can’t remember a game where he conceded multiple goals.

But I’d like to keep Zerk and Frang in, we have to keep Ridley in, but we have to trim a tall.

Ain’t coming back in 5 days

In: a bucket load of defensive pressure.

Out: conceding easy goals.

GWS are flying. Even without greene im worried they might absolutely torch us.

The way to a win here or at the very least respectability and percentage saving is to make it a game where ita bloody tough to score.

Geez stewie dew is packin on the kilos again.

Suns form followin his waistline.

You’d think so, but McKenna’s hand surgery…

In: hitting targets, clean hands , kicking set shots , pride in the jumper

Out: fumbles , poor skills , lack of care

How many intercept marks will Haynes have? I guess Townsend will need to play on him as a defensive forward. I would start Tippa in the middle so he can get some early touches. Redman I don’t know whether he stays in poor guy has lost confidence. McKenna I think will play forward. Langford back on the ball and forward. Cahill might have a rest. I hope they throw it around a bit.

Hurley on Cameron
BZT on Finalayson
Francis on Himmelberg

Yep, helps our percentage - we’ll only get done by 8 goals now.

Stop playing tippa deep forward, Takes as about as long to warm up as my 1974 celica FFS

No Shiel tag at least, gives us a chance, we should try a forward tag on Williams but for that we’d need to use tactics and we don’t do that

Won’t matter who they have out if we don’t tackle and start learning how to deliver the ball properly inside 50.

So no Greene and Deboer against us. That changes everything. I tipped us to win by 24points but am going to change it to 48 points.

we had 76 tackles v Adelaide and 30 something the other night, but yes i agree

the way we move the ball is clearly the biggest issue right now. when you have more inside 50s and lose by 10 goals well…

True, we have to play a helluva lot better.
Having said that, the Suns had 3 goals early in the last qtr today after missing some gettable shots, and some dreadful ball use thru the corridor.
They were still in the game.

The Giants aren’t in great form.
We probably don’t have the personnel or form to worry them, but a half decent team beats them ATM !

I can see us coming out and winning this its the essington way. Then getting smacked by the suns and st kilda.

Even if we don’t win id like to just see some good footy now. Free flowing and players leading and taking marks and kicking goals. Its a simple game.

Yup couldn’t agree more mate. The tackling and overall intensity in the Adelaide game was actually really good I thought. We then backed up by having literally half the amount of tackles against Brissie though, which just kills you against a good team.

Adding to that, we have the majority of our forward line missing AND we can’t deliver it properly to those who are there and yep, we’re in all sorts of strife unless we get that sorted asap.

Tackling is a non negotiable in my opinion
