I think Cox needs to do more as otherwise he may be the unlucky one missing out as our injured players are starting to come back

Id be surprised if we make many changes.
But yes with Reid, Ridley, Shiel, Tsatsas waiting in the twos and Setterfield and Draper getting better (recovering from injury) by the week.
We have the 30 good players now required to do damage in September.

Wowee, what a wonderful morning it is! Norf next week, ide be leaving things status quo, if anyone sore, rest them and bring in one to debut, that would be about it for me. Good chance to keep that continuity going. Enjoy the day all!

My guess is Reid plays another week in the VFL.
Ruck department is an area of concern for me. Draper is a month away. Goldy is tired, coaches donāt have faith in Bryan and when we play a single ruck we donāt get enough out of 2MP.
Iād really like us to play Bryan but that means (IMO) another tall needs to go out. That would have to be Harry but I donāt want that.
Menzie for ADJ is the other option but canāt see us pulling that yet.
Honestly think weāll go in unchanged.

As much as Davey isnāt performing, I would play him in this game as this could be a confidence booster game for him.
If he doesnāt play well then rest him, bring J Davey in for Dreamtime

Going to be an interesting few weeks of selection with Reid pressing his case and Ridley (touch wood) nearing a return. Iād be surprised if we looked to bring both in at around the same time, so I suspect Reid will be asked to bide his time and build some confidence in the body, while Ridley will be straight in (youād assume for Lav) once available.

His handballs a couple times werenāt good but his ability to get up and down the ground is very good.
He is a special players and another preseason in the weights room will hold him in good stead for next season.
Being over 200cm and playing like a rover and can kick both sides itās going to be a thing to watch years to come.
