Good luck in the games and years ahead with the boys.
Is there any indication Goldy is tired?
I reckon he is not yet tired of winning, as novel as that may be for him at this stage of his career.
That Stringer one gave me a chuckle.
Goldyās work rate is something to behold. His execution might be off every now and then, but the continual tackling, harassing and corralling is first class.

Is there any indication Goldy is tired?
8 day break. He will be fine.
See how the old body pulls up after a marvel game.
Players say that because the deck is so hard it can take longer to recover.
8 day break but first game heās gone solo there this year.

I reckon he is not yet tired of winning, as novel as that may be for him at this stage of his career.
Heās done a lot of miles over the years but this winning games for Essendon Football Club caper is like an engine re- build for old Goldy. Good luck to him.
Goldy is the ultimate professional, you donāt get to play through heading to 40 years of age without proper conditioning of your body well, he does all the right things preparing for games
He will be playing like a 28 year old against his old club.

I can see Caddy getting a few games in the next 14 too.
If we have another great month of footy we will be up near the top of the ladder and in a position to manage guys.
For example caddy earns a couple of games whilst scott manages someone like stringer or langers (if either need it) for September footy.

Has had a pretty good season. Can we forgive him one not great game?
Did I say we should delist him?
I know he will
My post was a bit ātongue in cheekā cos we play North
Thanks
Will be interesting if any players need a rest. Jake has been looking a bit sore and the Goldy discussions above are valid but canāt see Goldy rested for these next two. Perhaps Bryan comes in to chop out.
Also surprised Hep has been rested so his body must be holding up well but they might rest him this week.
On form to be honest the only player who you can drop is AJD but the coaches must like what he brings and getting him experience. Be interesting if Jayden kicks a few more next week in the VFL if they bring him in for Dreamtime.
Also no need for Reid yet North donāt have the big forwards so let him get confidence in the twos.
This should be a joke but its actually not. They will have similar numbers to what the likes of GWS or GC bring to away games.
Goldy probably could use a spell, but not against his old team, and especially with Draper struggling to be fit. Play Goldy this week and rest him the week after. If Draper is still not ready then bring in Bryan, heās [laying well in the VFL.
Thought he was one of our best for pressure acts??
Coach has shown a real penchant for keeping the team as it is
Unless there is a real need to rest someone or cover an injury, I donāt reckon there will be changes.
Whilst Iām not really a fan of changing for the sake of it, gee whiz, we need to blood some kids every now and again and rotate underperforming players of the squad. A Davey has had some good moments but needs to be rotated.
We have Jayden Davey looking very dangerous, Tsatas in good form, Roberts and Hayes consistent all year, Reid solid in his first game back plus others behind that.
Iād go:
In: Hobbs, J Davey (sub)
Out: A Davey
The week after youād be looking at Laverde for Reid. Then the week after that Ridley in for someoneā¦
