If I was them I would be feeling extremely confident coming into this game.
We are in good form, yes, but they have owned this day for a considerable number of years.
They play at the venue more than us (3-0 this year), are involved in way more “big” games and have a good track record of performing well when it counts.
They are delusional to think they are not heavily favoured.
I think it’s important to understand that it’s only the defenders that are holding their depth. The mids and the forwards are pressing the ball. And creating dirty entries. What we saw last year was defenders consistently get well forward of centre when the opposition had the ball and that was what was exposing us every week
Aside from mins 0-25 in first quarter and 10-25 in the last quarter when we concede something like 10 goals to zip, we had St Kilda’s measure. Two lapses severely cost us.
