I reckon he would give him a send off game.

If Scott watches the replay of the vfl game there is no possible way weid gets a game

It’s just one thing after another with this club, it’s draining.

4 weeks ago our injury list was looking really good.

Now it’s 2-3 new injuries a week plus suspensions.

No, no. The ones at the bottom.

The wheels are starting to fall off already and we are only in the second game of the year lols

I expect us to be completely cooked by the mid season break

He had one bad game, the first game of the season. He was not alone.

With Wright going out it would be madness to expect Caddy to come in on his own as the onlyā€tallā€ forward in his first game. Thus Jones needs to come in as well to provide at least some experience and take one of the opponent’s tall defenders. And who knows, he may grab a couple of marks and snag a couple of goals.

Or is the plan to award Weideman the role over Jones which begs the question why when he has been afforded much more opportunity than Jones with little or no return

Exactly. Weid to kick 4 ……it’ll happen

I would put my child’s eyes on it not happening.

Dees mates claim returning first quarter Weid is elite.

The preseason move of Kelly to the wing, makes complete sense to me now having seen our defensive transition issues so far.

Kelly in, and put him on the defensive side wing we desperately need someone that can maintain some semblance of structure.

Hopefully Ridley and Parish gets up.

Hind forward, in for Menzie, I like the chaos and x-factor he provides up forward.

Caddy in for 2MP, I’d rather get a look at Caddy and let Jones get some confidence in the 2s.

One more week for Martin in the backline, as hopefully Redman, Ridley and Kelly coming in can allow him to attack and get into dangerous positions.

Heppell out, truly great reader of the game, but we need more speed to slice through Lyons structure.

In- Ridley, Parish, Redman.

Out- Laverde, Heppell, Hobbs or Caldwell.

Our whole season depends on wether or not these coaches can teach this group how to defend the quick transition ball.
The secret is well and truly out that all teams need to do is move the ball quickly against us and they will score.

If we can turn that around and become a semi decent team in that area, then this group can win a final. If not we will continue to be in no mans land and cop beltings from the best sides.

I think you’ve nailed it on what we know.
Heppell - Managed & McGrath - moonboot could change things, as could unknown players being sore after the shorter break early in the season.

With King out I would give ridley anoher week to rest up. drop Hepp the saints will be too quick. Def Parish and Redman in. I would love to try Caddy, but I think they just go with Jones
