It was a political tactic, it is widely recorded, Greenlands ice cap was there, it wasnât actually green and verdant all over. like now only the margins could sustain life.

Yeah, Erik the Red is one of historyâs first shonky real estate salesmen. Calling Greenland âGreenlandâ was the viking equivalent of selling unsuspecting retirees âbeachfront propertyâ in a flood-prone swamp.

Almost as amazing is that in the past 40 years of concern about global warming, no climate scientist has ever bothered to monitor the variance of the sunâs output and factor it into their climate calculations. Jeez weâre lucky we have a bunch of people making youtube videos to set them straightâŚ
