Also Nebraska got upset because they couldn’t pray at midfield in Iowa’s stadium. Honestly I kind of want to take Iowa’s side on this one… prayer is for the privacy of your own home, not for public spectacle.

Yeah, it is kind of an unwritten rule that you don’t desecrate painted team logos and it’s rare that it happens… but this is the weekend when a lot of bitter rivalry games take place so there is a lot more emotion involved.
Michigan-Ohio State is so bitter that they won’t even mention the other state’s name for a week. It’s “the school up north” or “the school down south”.
It sounds like it’s all confected bs.

I may be out of line here, but taking a knee or grouping for a prayer should result in a suspension for life. Public prayer should constitute a hate crime.
I can’t imagine what would happen here if someone tried it.
