It 4% of known infections.

There are a lot of people who get infected who don’t know because their symptoms are so mild

So 80% or so of covid cases are so mild its just like a cough with a slight fever…
10 percent might keep you in bed.

Last 10 percent might need a ventilator.

Means that we have a total of 50 needing a ventilator at present, they would fit in a large ward.

How long then does it take for those people to heal up… 2 weeks? Surely can’t be that hard to slow it down.

4% fatality rate?

And Bill Gates and I have an average of US$51.8 billion in our bank accounts…

Thrown out by Italy. They’re sitting close to an 8% mortality rate.

Nope. Masses shut down.

Following the announcement that all Catholic mass services in Victoria have been suspended until further notice, Catholic leaders in Perth and Hobart have announced they will follow suit.

What everyone is failing to mention that there is no way in hell we can trust the figures from Iran and China so 4% is probably splitting the difference.

I think the article I read was before the ban.

I understand you are trying to claim that I made a silly statement, however I believe your statement to be true.

Nobody will convince me that North Korea don’t have a death toll of some sort from this. Zero cases apparently. Riiiight.

So there are reasons the numbers will be worse, and reasons they will be better. My original point, we won’t really know for some time.

So guess… sure. But don’t pretend that anyone actually knows.

…?

Applying and removing PPE

Work created a video specifically for us that I have to sign off that I watched. It’s fairly full on to do.

Good god. Well, certainly ads some meaning to the term “front line”.

This country will not be able to thank you and yours enough when this is over.

Maybe, if nothing else, the government might find a bit more for the nurses etc next eBa round.

Have a look at this for help with explaining it to kids.

I’m just saying they could slow it down more and reduce the strain on our resources further by closing the schools, but they aren’t.
It’s probably best for the benefit of the majority of the population, but not the Boomers.
And it’s playing with fire that could get out of hand.

I went there on Sunday. The place was packed with about 20 times the normal number of shoppers. Most of the pasta was gone except for some gluten free stuff and some of the itsy bitsy little shapes that are best suited for making soup. There is a fruit shop come grocery at Northcote Plaza that had some spaghettini the other day. They also had some large tube-type pasta - sort of like an extra thick buccatini.

Kids share germs like you would not believe.

So why are we sending them to school to share it still?

Think of this for a second. Private schools. Shutting down by the day.

Public schools open.

Hard not to extrapolate from that they they want the poor to share the brunt of the virus load .

Government not once mentioned the primary purpose of sending kids to school (education) or acknowledge teachers. They just harp on sbout taking away medicos and nurses etc.

Just like they classed casinos as essential…
