You’ll still need to quarantine here for quarantine days, regardless of vaccination.

I’m surprised this actually existed. I used to always have my own mug that I brought from home and was quite obvious it was mine.

We had all glasses, mugs, cutlery and pretty much anything else you need supplied. We just had to put them in the dishwasher and then they would also get washed and put away.

I miss those days as I now have to do this all at home for myself.

Sigh.

I’m not back in the office yet, but l’m interested how people with allergies will be treated. I often have cold like symptoms and will often have sneezing patches. Not being around people much l can confidently put it down to my allergies, but if spending substantial time on public transport and in the office, can l still assume its allergy based.

NSW Premier announces major easing of restrictions

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced restrictions will be eased in greater Sydney from 12.01am AEDT on Friday.

You will be able to welcome 30 people in your household including children from Friday morning.

Outdoors gatherings can be up to 50 people.

For weddings and funerals, the new limit will be one person per four-square metres and up to 300 people and places of worship will be allowed to have one person per 4 square metres with no maximum cap.

Ms Berejillian said masks will be recommended for retail shopping and hospitality venues. However, masks will still be mandatory on public transport and at places of worship. Masks will also remain compulsory in gaming rooms .

At beauty and hair salons, masks will still be mandatory for patrons and staff.

In two weeks time, if there are no community cases detected, all settings will revert to the two-square-metre rule. ā€œWe are not there yet,ā€ Ms Berejiklian said.

Ms Berejiklian said this further easing of restrictions in a couple of weeks was ā€œa high probability

Went and got a test today. Felt a sore throat come on over the past day or so, went to the drive-thru testing centre at the Showgrounds. Done in 20 mins. Now to isolate until the test results come through…

I’m keen to know in this thread who has done the most tests!

I’ve only done the two - both in the last four weeks.

Three but i think @Koala has more.

Three

zero

Lost count at 8, reckon I’m about a dozen now :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I find zero to be a bit curious.

Anyone who clocks a zero - you haven’t had a sniffle, sore throat, fatigue, anything in 12 months?

I know everyone is getting less sick because of less contact with other people, but not being sick even slightly in 12 months??

A dozen! You might be the winner. Why so many?

A lot less respiratory illness going around this year, not especially surprising if you’re a generally healthy person, in particular if you don’t have kids.

Had 2 lots of 3x tests where you have to test on arrival then day 5&12.
Had the outbreak at the airport very early on where we needed testing and then a couple of interstate work trips

I’d say I genuinely haven’t had a cold/cough for over a year before picking this one up over the long weekend. I don’t get them that often and normally I’m OK in a couple of days, but in the current world we live in it’s best to get tested.

I haven’t…and that’s even coming back to Australia the same day as the Ruby Princess.

Two test for me.
