COVID-19 Round 12 - c'mon, it's just a little prick

It was advise for awhile there anyway. Riskiest part of mask wearing is taking it off and on with hands that may be unsanitised, so better to keep it on.

I know vast majority of mask wearers are just doing it because and hate it(me included). But there are a portion of vulnerable people that really need to wear masks and wear them properly.

Hazzard says now Clear and present danger, nothing like this in NSW before.
Gladys would have preferred that the outbreak had not occurred, restrictions are no reflection on our contact tracing.
Hazzard banging on about QR code and paper and pen if tech deficient. He has never been this worried since January last year.
Gladys does not want people coming in to the 7 LGAs.
No restrictions on leaving the home , just movement outside the 7 LGAs, think about WFH

How many active cases do they have from this “outbreak”, not including returned travellers in HQ?

I look like that. But I do have a bag attached to the outdoor seatbelt as a concession to utility.

10 people from the birthday party, tested promptly after asymptomatic spreader tasted just after the party. A child at the party.
Not sufficient vax, not enough vaxed, so random, we need to protect people. Gladys says need 10m jabs , currently 2m. Can’t increase vax supplies, dependent on Fed per population allocation
A few State MPs in iso, should we suspend Parliament

and visitors now allowed to aged care homes

Back to 85% ground capacity from July 1st as well.

Just when we’re about to head to the cattery…

Of course.

25% capacity at the MCG to 85% in a week. The ■■■■.

Getting a bit heated between Hazard and media.
They don’t like the pointed, targeted questions.
Lucky they don’t get Melbourne media there.

wasnt it 25% for a fortnight?

They said from 1st July

Some restrictions such as gatherings and what not lasting another 2 weeks.

Others like ground capacity and other density limits lasting a week.

Trying to manage this Delta strain with barely any restrictions is a huge gamble. Maybe it will work and their (seriously very good) contact tracing scheme might save them again, but it a a huge risk, not only for NSW but also the whole country.
