COVID-19 Round 12 - c'mon, it's just a little prick

Indeed, this NSW government needs some heat.

Philippines got the right idea

How long until the NSW outbreak is leaked into VIC? (If it hasn’t already)

Duterte gone soft. Previously he would just shoot them. Personally.

Gyms limited to 20, other conditions such as 4 square metre rule.
Journo getting antsy about limo driver, why hasn’t he been fined ; why wasn’t he vaxed? Hazzard says he has answered that Q - he hasn’t , just that cops investigating ( cops were in charge of hum). Hazzard says those working in HQ should be vaxed, but people are human, 2k going through HQ, He thinks journos are getting excited about nothing.
Kerry takes over to calm the waters, extraordinary circumstances of large retail settings (not like small grog shops) , speed in households, some vaxed, some not. 10 at a party rare.
Why is Liverpool not included, given movements associated with Hoxton Party. Kerry notes that those who travelled to party wore masks on PT.

up there with arming the population to fight drug dealers and gay people i guess

Actually quite ■■■■■■ how shafted us members have been this year. I know its purely being unlucky with how things have played out with the pandemic but i hope their are some concessions made for the back half of this season or next year.

Yeah nothing to get excited about, it only caused all the latest issues. “But it isn’t our fault, blame the police”

Is anyone else suffering from serious fatigue with all this ■■■■, the slow easing of restrictions, the constant BS from scomo/ state politicians about vaccinations, inane bickering about masks, footy crowds etc etc?

I am so looking forward to the day where I can not have to hang on every fkg word these muppets have to say and can live my life on my own terms again without having to have that lingering dread in the back of my mind that someday some selfish fkwit or some poor desperate casual worker will fk it all up again.

It’s going to sound dumb but about 10 years ago I found a lump on my body and convinced myself that it was a tumor and that I was going to meet a premature demise. It took me a year to get it checked out because I was stupid and didn’t want to really face it. For that year I was living in constant dread that my life was ultimately out of my control. Even on good days it would pop into my mind and sober me up pretty quickly.

Covid just feels like that at this point. Feels we are on a dreadful, infinite road to nowhere, and there’s nothing I can do to fix that. Even good days are tapered by that feeling that at any point things may change for the worse.

Just fkg get vaccinated everyone so we can move the fk on.

I feel that NSW is no mans land now.

Just admit a hard lockdown Victoria style and get on with it

we wouldn’t have to if journalists had a shred of integrity.

I’m fine with them knocking off the drug dealers and anti vaxers

Maybe we could recruit Duterte as head of police here?

we have him in dutton

Yep.

For me the hardest thing is the constant uncertainty. You feel like you can never really relax.

For instance a few weeks ago in Melbourne we were golden, no cases for months, barely any restrictions. Then there’s a case and only three days later we’re locked down.

That lack of certainty about what’s going to happen tomorrow is exhausting. Even when you’re totally relaxed and things have been going well for ages, it can all go to sh/t very quickly. That’s taking its toll on everyone I reckon

Journo suggests MPs on floor of House mingling and maskless not setting a good example - Glad says they will be after the 4pm rules come in - but will they be vertical?
Presser being wound up. Gladys not one to care about what people think of her, bye for now.
Some journos may be driven by disruption to school holiday plans.
No one mentioned North Face being an exposure site.

Dutton is the lite version
