COVID-19 Round 13 - IT'S NOT A RACE!

Target the LGA’s with the most issues and barricade them in. No work unless absolutely essential ie medical, police etc. ADF deployed in those LGA’s to deliver food and supplies, no ones leaves home at all. If you need medical assistance a ambulance will come and collect. Patrols door knocking and searching homes with zero tolerance given to those that break rules. I’d get rapid tests into every household and those that test positive can get further assistance and tests if need be. Basically confined to your house for 14 days

ScoMo: NSW contact tracing gold standard
Hazzard: NSW contact tracing diamond standard
Gladys: “We have the best contact tracers in the world”, repeat, repeat, repeat.
Gladys: “I fear for Victoria and I worry about what their government may do,”
Gladys: “We’ve demonstrated to other states that it is possible to manage an outbreak and not shut down a city.”
Gladys: “Can I say that I will leave other premiers to comment on their own states, I will comment on New South Wales.”
Reporter demands to know why the lockdown couldn’t be tightened, because “Victoria did it very successfully” Gladys: (snort-laugh) “No they did not.”
Gladys: “I’m not someone who will be afraid to take any decision we need to keep our citizens safe.”

Yesterday and today, every time a question is asked about locking down more tightly - deflect, and talk about vaccination for their self-declared national emergency, which it will soon become if she continues to shift blame and not act. If I were living in Sydney I’d be close to rioting on the streets by now, in a hazmat suit.

She hangs herself by her own words.

It’s almost worth it just to see Janet Albrechtsen’s reaction to this Satanic move.

Don’t forget when Vic asked for more pfizer she said ‘it won’t be coming from us’.

Stop gaslighting me via Gladys.
National emergency?
Excuse me while I splutter…

We’ll probably need QLD and NT on side. Fair chance Newcastle could be convinced to nuke Sydney as well.

Vic’s a bit short on nukes…

WA: Really? You just have to not ask me not to.

good luck finding anyone not from sydney who is against it

Anyone who has not caught a cab in Sydney would maybe say it’s a bit harsh.

A family I know in Israel have all received their first dose of Pfizer. 4 of them now have covid including their 8 year old son who has vomiting, has a high fever and stomach aches.

I like Sydney, so nuking is a no from me.

Just nuke Parliament House and the place where Scotty lives.

Pretty much that - and make the 5km rule for travel, not just exercise. Those extra measures are effective. They just need to do it long enough for contact tracing to get on top of the community cases, then they can gradually ease.

This might be true. I dread that NSW gives up as we’ll regret this decision in 3 months. Other states will continue to aim for near complete suppression but with high NSW rates of transmission other states will struggle to contain covid to NSW.

Don’t have you only have protection from Pfizer after the 2nd shot?

Sort of.

Hawaii has been through enough.

What’s not closed?

I thought at least one shot would provide some protection, at least isn’t that what everyone in here and Gladys is saying?

It would be sad to lose The Rocks.
Ehhhhhhh, but then I’m reminded of their Hawthorn-style ‘voted to merge’ thing on that.

Nah, nuke it.
