COVID-19 Round 13 - IT'S NOT A RACE!

Is that photo now or from earlier?

Health Hazzard looks like he’s had all the Penfold Grange, he is ‘alert and alarmed’ and is blaming the numbers out in the community.

Rental freezes could only happen if the government mandated freezes on things like rate and mortgage payments.

Councils are too greedy to consider the former, the government is too scared to tackle the latter

It is so simple. But yes, support is absolutely necessary. And perhaps we need to realise that insecure, low paid employment doesn’t serve any of us.

Gladys just said don’t worry about being supported, but in reality, will your mate receive compensation for staying home to keep others safe? Possibly not, and even if he does, it won’t necessarily stop him from losing a job by not showing up to work. Many of these conversations were had when Vic had their major lockdown a year ago.

Not just between States and not all States
What about all those Fed Ministers from Victoria, but not Victorian ?

  • any word from Bridget McKenzie?
  • different narrative this time round, we are all in thus together.

Brad has made my day - intimate partners OK, but does not have to explain them or blush like Dictator Dan
Closing words, he thinks, quoting the great Statesman Howard

  • be alert, not alarmed

If only there was another state which had gone through a spookily similar scenario, who could offer advice as to what worked and what didn’t.
If only…

I’m so glad the rest of the world is slowly opening up with each other, while we cement ourselves closed off to the world as a result of a pathetic, late, inefficient, incompetent vaccine rollout that no other OECD country compares too, from an apparent Prime Minister that is hiding out at the moment.

We were so lucky over the past 18 months compared to other countries, we had so much time to plan, to come up with an actual plan, and we did ■■■■ ■■■■ all. Morrisons head needs to roll.

It wouldn’t take a lot for these business types to show this good will in that ‘business leadership’ meeting ScoMo and fraudenberg hosted to put their hands up and volunteer.

Right now the banks and supermarkets be killing it. They can give something back and build their corporate image.

Some food deliveries to say three LGAs in Sydney’s and free accomodation for a month in return for military level lockdowns and curfews is a fair cop.

Should be the standard response wherever delta pops off.

It’s too contagious

I am not sure.
