Covid 19 - Round 7 - Keep calm and don’t go to the butcher

Completely agree (though I’d argue Essendon winning one premiership is unattainable)

My view is the fact that eradication hasn’t happened yet doesn’t itself mean that it can’t be done at a state or national level.

If there’s no vaccine and we want to reopen international borders without quarantine, then yeah, it definitely can’t be done.

We all have things we want to do.
I want to go to Horsham. I have all friggin’ year. That’s off the cards but now my goal is the annual family New Year’s holiday in the Grampians and I get pissy at the thought of that being ruined by entitled jerks.
LMW is a student at a dance studio, so basically a gym. She’d kind of like to go to school one time, let alone perform to an audience.
More than that she’d like to have one friend sleep over one time.
And I want to go on a bar crawl and play pinball.
And I want the comedy festival to happen in Easter next year.

We all Want stuff.

I’m not sure.
Brendan Gale was deluded with his goal.
No one in their right mind thought Richmond who hadn’t done anything of note in almost 40 years would win a grand final. Then win a second one.

I don’t think we’re getting to Covid Normal. Not before February anyway. But I’d change Covid Normal to be ‘mass’ crowds at sporting / music events. Everything else, should be brought back into a separate step (like someone else mentioned).

Andrews up shortly.

And now I feel like kind of a jerk.
Because all of that pales in comparison to the small business owners that would kind of like to earn a living.

Well pass them on

There’s been a bit of noise about dance studios in the last week and a bit. My sister teaches at one, and I’ve been providing advice on grants & support stuff where it relates to physical activity, but because they’re a sole trader business and not an incorporated club they’re beholden to rules around businesses instead of community groups, despite offering (more or less) the same community service. My understanding (this is about third or fourth hand info so proceed with caution) is there’s a bit of lobbying going on in the background to line studios up with rules around personal trainers & group fitness classes (ie: outdoors, small classes). Hopefully there’s a bit of success with that.

I only want an Bomber flag before I die; is that asking too much ?

Nothing wrong with wanting stuff while recognising that others have different situations

I’d be shocked in her case, frankly.
The studio is massive. She’s basically a Mon-Fri 9-5 student.
I appreciate the good news though.

Active cases 554.

First time im starting to think we can make Step 3.
Not sure on the last step, still think thresholds will need to be adjusted.

+9 reclassifications so cumulative total actually up 24.

Single figure tomorrow, I feel it in me waters.

How do the additional cases work with reclassifications? Are these historical cases/active/all of the above?
