HQ mandated by Feds - I seem to recall that quarantine must or should take place at the nearest feasible location to the airport. If so, there could be a need to get a variation at NatCab level.

On the mask wearing at airports and on domestic flights, it seems it only becomes mandatory under NatCab rules after 11.59pm today.
The cluster now in Shanghai was found during routine testing of hospital workers, the 3 cases yesterday were found in the cleaners in their 40’s / 50’s, now here is the juicy part. Seems that there is some shenanigans are happening. They are ‘migrant workers’ which means they are from the villages and have their families back there. Seems that they have been a little friendly with each other on these cold nights and seems that the female cleaner was playing the field a little bit.
The concerning things is that the hospitals in questions have no Covid patients so this has come from somewhere else.

It is no surprise that the regional authorities don’t want a quarantine centre in their area - It seems like the whole of Australia like many parts of the world are suffering from the NIMBY syndrome.
Does that stand for not in my backyard?

If you’ve caught a flight in the last six months and not voluntarily worn a mask then there is no hope for you surely
Could be a view that a mining camp like Howard Springs , allowing for some time outside of a room and with better ventilation, might be better from a mental and physical health perspective than a claustrophobic hotel room with no scope for opening windows and without seeing another face.

The mask this is a absolute lucky dip.
I went out for lunch on Brunswick St. No mask required to enter the restaurant.
Went to Dixons records and they said ‘wear a mask if you want to’ then over the road to the Bottleshop and was told to wear mask.
The nail places are full of people with no masks on and they are shoulder to shoulder and you walk in to the Supermarket with 3 people in it and you are told by security to wear a mask.
Fucken confusing, especially after a few beer over lunch. No one seems to know the rules and you just pick and choose if you want to apply them.
