I thought it odd a few weeks ago when Crameri returning from a two weeks injury was relegated to the reserves. A player of his calibre would normally automatically be returned to the seniors after such a short absence.
I have watched him play for the past two weeks in the VFL and I have never seen a player less committed.
I hear that Carlton have made him an offer and I wonder if he has already told the EFC that he will be leaving at the end of this season.
His defensive efforts have been poor all year. He looks injured when chasing someone but when he there is a sniff of a goal or possession he seems to find his pace.
Wow, if true that is a massive statement of possible disloyalty! I hope no other players follow suit!
not really whats the point of signing if your gonna get a possible 2 years ?
but in all fairness in the last half of the season when the point stripping rumour became a media fest ....the club has been very carefull with our players who have injuries havent they ? no ones been rushed back carrying anything have they ?
except jobe who i think would have played with 1 arm hanging off to help the team

Nah, he is just out of form and still has injuries.
Hell I am completely exhausted by ASADA, so what do you think the players are feeling. Crammers is going nowhere, he is a required player. Unless Hawthorn want him and trade Franklin, or Doggies give us Griffin and the guy with the hair.

Disloyalty! Bullsh1t! Can't you read between the lines? Some players are more involved in the process more than others, he may or may not be one. Assumptions. The bloke has been injured. He is not friggen superman. Geez, we are Bomber-land don't eat our own and particularly, not now with all this crap going on. Cut the bloke a bit of slack will you!
I posted this in another thread (yesterday) that I spoke with a prominent Carlton person on Saturday at Etihad and he told me that Carlton were preparing big offers for both Gumby and Crameri. He also said that Crameri already had a 2 year offer on the table from Essendon before Crameri's management put negotiations on hold. He also believed that other clubs were circling the pair, hence Carlton preparing BIG offers to trump the others.
In my view, I'd be staggered if Crameri decided to leave. There's no doubt he's been playing hurt for quite a while this year but I agree with the OP that if he's fit enough to play VFL, then he should be playing in the AFL side. I doubt very much whether the ASADA stuff has anything to do with his not signing.
