Regardless of announcements, rumours, innuendo, actual events, please cheer all Essendon personnel as enthusiastically as it is within your little selves to do.
It is clear that the media want to turn this into a Bomber vs Hird debate, and it is about the only thing that will divide us. On this our night of nights, we should not let this happen.
So regardless of your feelings / emotions / knowledge / wisdom / drunken state, please stand together and applaud all and sundry. Knowing full well that you can wander back in here afterwards and tell us what you really think.

If true, it is a disgrace. Perhaps some Blitzers in attendance can confirm his presence/absence. lf he isn't there, then the question should be asked why not. Jobe does a Q & A segment, and while it wouldn't be the most appropriate context in which to ask that question, the need to ask it is greater than any potential breach of protocol.
