I hope our inability to convert starts into centuries doesnât cost us again.
Head may have some issues facing the short ball and spin and he may not offer much in the field, but he is making a habit of scoring runs when the team needs him to.
Handscomb needs to hit some form quickly or I fear Mitch Marsh will get a recall.
Trav is a pretty good fielder. He has 3x 50âs in his first 7 digs which is pretty good in anyoneâs language. He still has plenty to work on and knows he needs to start converting these starts

Yeah he isnât a bad fielder, just not a specialist like some of the others on the fringe.
He certainly has impressed getting IN when the team needs him to, which shows that heâs made of the right at stuff. As does being made state captain.
Itâs just a shame that he has developed a bit of habit getting his half century and then losing his wicket. Fortunately for him aussie cricket isnât exactly flowing with good batsmen at the moment.
There was another bloke from yesteryear who took a while to get his first hundred. Guy by the name of Steven Waugh.

Yep, he should get a roasting for the manner of his dismissal today but his spot in the middle order should be safe as can be right now. Heâs actually looking pretty good at the crease.

Ok, maybe not that much of a hiding but I canât see the Indians surpassing Austâs tally on a wicket that is the opposite of what theyâre accustomed to.
