Edgbaston really is a beautiful cricket ground

Soz, I’ll behave

It certainly was a strange non-review.

I wish he would have taken the 12 months off to learn how the play through the V, he’s always been vulnerable to the full straight one when the ball isn’t playing true.

Appropriately named too, EdgeBastion.

I did appreciate the irony. Ball tamperers get savaged, street bashers are national heroes.

Yep. Gawn

Always good to win the toss, … not always good choices made when you do, …

Good review

I’m happy Smith is back. I’m not happy we’ve reverted back to the he has to do all the batting game plan.

Pitch hasn’t exactly been a nightmare to bat on, we’ve just been a little timid.

Would’ve been tempting to put an inexperienced English batting lineup in on day 1 though.

Travis Head.

First thing that springs to mind is ‘why do you need two vice-captains for a team of 11?

I hope the Aussie quicks are paying close attention tp how England are bowling. Chances are they’ll be bowling sooner rather than later.

Im attending a sleep clinic tonight. So far they probably have some interesting readings on their monitors after watching this start.

Right call to bat. But you need to be able to bat tightly. This pitch should settle. Reckon it already is a bit.

C’mon trav, apply yourself. There’s runs to be had if you can get through to the afternoon.

How the hell was that not a wide!?

Wides no longer in the laws of cricket? ■■■■■■ hell.
