Yep he was averaging around 150 from his previous 8 innings before yesterday. So he has maintained this average.
He is the second most talented sportsperson to ever wear 49 on his back.

No surprise that Smith delivered. He shouldnt be playing international ODI and T20.
I’ve been thinking about it for a while, perhaps too much. I think it dawned on me this morning that the part of it I find weird is that England weren’t the aggrieved party in the incident. South Africans fans I can understand, but what did Smith do to England (other than dominate them with the bat)?
If they are going to hand out yellow bits of paper outside the grounds and sell Smith masks, perhaps we should hand out Ben Stokes Mugshots and wave them around any time he does anything.
They Boo’ed Warner before Sandpapergate and I think that was mostly because he punched Root.
Maybe it’s just a Pantomime villain thing. Next they’ll be shouting “He’s behind you” whenever Smith is fielding at slip.

So I think I touched on this a few weeks ago. Went to a match in Southampton. Aus vs Eng practice match. England fans Boo’ed Smith when he came out to bat, and also when he scored his 100. I think I also mentioned that my mate was a bit obnoxious. It turns out, that English fans who are completely happy to wave around yellow paper, call Australia a nation of cheats and boo pantomime villains, really… and I mean REALLY don’t like it when you say things about how Ben Stokes should be in Jail.
