Who’s the “we” that you all keep talking about?
I’m pretty sure we didn’t boo him when he took a wicket or a catch or scored a fifty.
Oh goody.
715169 posts telling us how the 1 post which mentioned the booing was an over-reaction.
Why watch the cricket game, when you can instead indulge in the even more entertaining game of “who’s the most self righteous?”
Are you a Carly Simon fan?
That post was directed at GG.
that last post is
Are you? I was talking to baker and GG too.
Based on the innings Smith just played, I’d say we should be encouraging them to boo him.
Reminds me of when Kohli entered the field at the Sydney test. Came on the field to boos, but when he brought up his ton, nothing but applause. I know Kohli isn’t a cheat, but I’d like to think our crowds would act like this in other cases too. BUT… as you know you can’t control the masses, people will be ■■■■■■
I do find it really disappointing.
I kind of expected it from the ODI crowds, although going to neutral matches just to boo some blokes is…just…wow.
But I honestly though the English Test crowds would be better than that.
If they want to behave like soccer yobs at the Test cricket in England, that’s their choice, but it makes me sad and feel like something special has been lost.
That’s great.
People sometimes boo.
I don’t think you understand the point I’m making at all.
It must be a big shock for a South African, playing a Test with a crowd of people there.
Yep I don’t understand.
Booing is cretinous whatever the sport, imo.
Smith is a freak. I was worried he may not be as he was. He took one innings to prove I was wrong.
Boo hoo.
You better boo Ryder tomorrow !!!
When little kids boo it’s cute. When Essendon supporters boo umpires it’s hilarious. But sadly there is always those that are feral, so they ruin it for everyone.
Our future ruckman?
There was something on the radio today about him averaging 130 from his last nine Ashes innings!? That’s insane if true.
