Cricket thread - India in Australia (Part 1)

Those last two decisions looked bad!

One was caught down leg side so hard to tell from that replay.

Haha they needed 14 off 12 overs.

Some terrible shots by the Tassie bats and also some what looked to be dubious decisions by the umpire. Vics looking pretty ordinary regardless of pulling the win out of the fire.

Robbed. You filthy cheating bastards.

At what looks like fairly close to full-strength, too.

Odd, this should be a stellar One day side over the years.

lol Poms!

They took a punishing T20/50 player and tried to use him in tests, then they drop him from their upcoming T20 campain. Way to go.

“World Cup star Jason Roy, one of the most punishing white ball batsmen on the planet, is also excluded.”

QLD v Redbacks

BJ is talking to Renshaw on the field and makes the comment that he would feel he mised out after getting to 22 then getting out. Renshaw responds by asking why he (BJ) think he (Renshaw) missed out? BJ respond with he only got to 22, Renshaw is bemused by this, BJ makes a decidedly snarky response of “geez you have set the bar low” then says goodbye. Roy (also in commentary) then states that Renshaw should be wanting to get more than 20’s.

Rather testy little exchange between the comms and Renshaw. I agree witht he comms BTW, 22 is not good enough and the fact Renshaw thinks he did alright is a concern.

How odd.
Wouldn’t be the first bat to be in a generally foul mood after going out, but needs to be a bit smarter than that.

He wasn’t out this innings, they were chatting to him before start of play about his last innings.

Big Billy Stanlake has been excellent yet again for QLD.

Checked the scores, he made 22 from 28 when all other batsmen bar the opener Bryant passed 50 and all with good strike rates.
Bulls made 307, looked a good batting pitch.

By the sounds of it, looks like BJ has every right to ask the question.

John.

5 off 11 overs.

SA 4 / 154 from 35 overs so far. Copper on the player mic not happy with the lost wickets, thinks it is a decent batting pitch.

Not a police matter is it?

Bad Boy Kohli

India captain Virat Kohli has received a demerit point and an official warning for an “inappropriate” shoulder contact with South Africa quick Beuran Hendricks while taking a run during the third T20I on Sunday in Bengaluru. Kohli was found guilty of a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct.

BJ & Renshaw still having digs at each other.

Laters bairstow! Now don’t ever pick him in tests again!

You can keep him playing against us, we like him…
