I don’t have myeloma, but I have CML and it’s very much hitting me right now, it’s a battle and the psychological impacts it has on the individual aswell as the family is very debilitating, wondering, thinking not knowing what lies ahead for your future, feeling very upset for his family right now.

Sincere best wishes, Annabelle. I know you probably know this already, but: listen to your docs, get help for the mental side, and in the time I’ve been working in medical research I’ve seen amazing advancements - they just keep coming, with CML already the beneficiary of heaps of progress. But look after your mind, too! Serious best wishes.

Thanks, I suppose I’m in chronic phase and medication you are right major advancements since 20 years ago, although it’s different than myeloma the mental side still impacts daily along with side effects of the meds.

They have advised the medication is working very very well and I’m ahead timing wise since commencing in July last year.
This news of Dale though just hits home so much!
