I remember Dennis Pagan saying at a coaching course, when asked by Sheedy about dropping Kickett, Pagan said it was the wrong thing. Sheedy’s reply was something on the lines of ‘yeah but my call’. Something like that.

I had no idea Derek played for North Melbourne prior to Essendon. Delisted after 1 season… poor decision!

Kicked an unbelievable goal against Geelong in 1992. Had a set shot from the pocket (wrong side for him) and instead of doing a banana kick tried to back the player, got into trouble, then dodged another and kicked the goal, with a banana kick.

Haven’t been watching I’m a celebrity but walked in on it tonight and there the great man was. If you told me an ex bombers player would appear on garbage like this… Dekka would have been towards the bottom of my list of guesses. How he’s being handsomely compensated.

Supposedly Buckley scored 350 large for his appearance on it (is he still on - don’t know, don’t watch it). I don’t suppose Dekka’s salary would be quite that size.
The NFL ex-player apparently gets upset when Buckley tells him how much he is getting, because he is only getting a 100k.
So much for going for their “chosen charity”.

I’m pretty sure a portion of it would go to them or other ways e.g cost of voting
The winner wins a sum of money to their chosen charity, most of them get paid to be on the show separately to that.
