Where do you stand on legalising heroin and ice?
Thatâs actually more akin to a monopoly or oligopoly where a few suppliers set the price. In free market capitalism, the market price is set by the interaction of supply and demand (not cost +), and if there is enough competition among sellers/supply then the margins will fall.
What you said is no doubt true in practice given the suppliers in this industry have already sold addiction, which is more powerful than silly theories from Economics 101.
Another of your rhetorical questions
Hmmph.
Rhetorical questions.
What good are they?
How should I know?
Where do you stand?
No problem if itâs done right. Certainly working for Portugal.
Working it is. Legalised it isnât.
Decriminalised.
Nope.
Edit: Another of your obfuscations.
Dead against legalisation.
I really do not know much about the pros and cons of such a question. I do know the effect of heroin and ice on our Community and my family. Donât think it does much good to put drug addicts in jail.
Not sure what your question has to do with gambling though.
We havenât put people in jail for being drug addicts for years. Itâs a massive misconception. If youâre an addict and leave well alone, you can go on your merry way being an addict, however this is not usually the case.
We put drug addicts in jail for petty crime like shop-lifting. I have seen it in our local Magistrates Court; same day as the bloke who beat his Girlfriend so badly that she had broken bones with given a good behaviour bond.
im still trying to reconcile a die hard labor man being against taxes to better society.
Last visit to Monte Carlo casino which was admittedly 6 years ago was strictly no passport, no entry.
To better society, LOL!
The prison population is rather low at the moment, so I suggest theyâre not even really doing that. If theyâre a junkie and petty thief, often they get a CCO before they actually get put in prison. Then, if they break the conditions, they will often get put inside.
Some benefits of lockdown
Does that mean EFC would be eligible for Jobkeeper with the drop in income from the pokies?
interesting that one can put in a 100 dollars into online betting, lose it and then go oh wow no more of that for me
