Since its trade and draft time and the Dogs just paid a lot for the GCS Pick 4. Though i would throw this here.
Valuing Australian football league draft picks | PLOS ONE
They essentially conclude that the curve for pick value is flatter than the AFLâs value per pick. Based on some different combination of games, performance, awards etc.
So, kinda shows that clubs are way over valuing the top 5 picks and undervaluing the late first and second round a lot.
