30 scoring shots to 12, 35 more Inside 50’s and a heap more stats heavily in our favour. We should/could have won by 100% and given ourselves a buffer in the unlikely event of a Melbourne loss… but at least we didn’t completely screw the pooch.
May was dominate on JD and that hurt our forward structure. Green gone for the season, so now we really have to wonder where the spark up forward comes from.
Loved seeing McG in the middle… glimpse of the future and it was good. Also thought Bird built into the game, and as much as I love Jobe… he offered more defensively than Jobe has this season. I would keep him in.
Begley started on fire and then dropped off, but still had some nice touches. I would keep him in.
