Dons 'n' Dogs down at the Docks: Ess v Foots sellout round 19 match day thread

I dont really care about finals so much Im just a bit sick of the Dogs. Id like to see them lose and have them realise that they are crap.

Im looking foward to seeing Cox out there and hopefully he can play well and maybe even hit the scoreboard

lol ■■■■ this game. Play it without any fans or tv streaming or anything and just announce who wins at the end.

We lose this and we won’t make finals. Season on the line. We failed miserably last weekend, must respond. Interesting to see how we go about Bontempelli, whether we look to a run with role or simply go head to head. Hope someone goes at him physically.

Why all the negativity? Is this because we got turned over last week? We will knock the inconsistent Bullfrogs off tonite.

Yep, and because we’ve been their ■■■■■■■ for the best part of a decade. And they routinely bully us. After last week my trust in this playing group has diminished. Until they prove otherwise I won’t be confident in our ability in crunch games like this.

We have had some BAD, BAD coaches over the past few years. This year is different.

Sample size is waaaaaaay too small for that assessment yet I think. This time next year will be better to judge.

We are better this year than the past few. The Bulldogs are no Collingwood, believe me we will knock them off. They are not playing well.

Was last week different to any other time we’ve played Geelong in recent memory? And we were actually higher on the ladder prior to that match.

We put in a shocker - no doubt about that. I was talking to a Channel 7 commentator at golf today and he said the Bombers were completely out of character last week and in his opinion, this is a 50/50 game. I reckon it is a 60/40 game in our favour.

Like your confidence, I was like that once.

Sounds like we are playing the greatest team in the history of the AFL!

If we don’t come to play, this has the potential to be over in the first. Dogs have been starting well, we must match them early to be any chance.
