i think our number one priority should be a super classy and fast half back who is not a defensive liability honestly. NWM is ooc end of year. Kane Farell is a FA.

Suns will be really tough on their ground and the dewy conditions they play in regularly.
I believe Hawthorn are better than us now over most areas of the field, and especially game plan and coaching.
Splitting the 2 is a decent result.

I find this an odd assessment, he was really missed last year when he was injured. He had a couple of off moments last night, but got plenty of it.

That’s an interesting one. Perhaps you’re right. We’d certainly need another top notch A grade midfield star to come to the club for it to be a net win for us though. I’d love to get a designated HB distributor and then allow Merrett to be deployed with flexibility on an as needs basis. But then again, I’m greedy.

I noticed it with Merrett, gave Kako a huge smile and hug after the 4th, but straight away just went straight faced and full serious again. They have been there too many times to start drinking their own bathwater again until real success is achieved.
