Dons v Cats - TUES 25th 7.10pm @ the Cattery

As soon as King was coaching I thought efc would win.

If Chris was coaching he would be fuming and pulling all strings not to lose.

It’s only pre season game but it’s amazing what a bit of youth and pressure can do for a team. Kako, Tsatas, Caddy to name a few. The pressure was what I was really impressed with. The problem is trying to keep that pressure up for a whole season. It’s a good starting point though. I missed the reserve game did anyone stand out that could come into the seniors next week.

2MP is insurance.

Wtf was he doing there.
1 hand ball.

Edward’s 4 goals stood out.

Hopefully he kicks 60+ in the VFL.

On their home deck.

I went to the game tonight and managed to get there very very early so I saw 2 1/2 quarters of the reserves game. I must say, I was very happy the midfield in both games and also the forward Setups. Seem to have changed things and it seems to be working.
There was more unpredictability in the forward line because they weren’t just bombing it in.

Also, our highest score at Cats Stadium since 1993

Bryans first stint was a disaster, but he really really lifted his game, both hit outs and marking around the ground

Edwards ok to good tonight, did some little things that resulted in goals

Is that how much 1 hand ball in an AFL practice match converts into?

Would like to see Jones heatmap. Seemed like a wingman, rather than half forward?

One thing I didnt like was not seeing Durham get any centre bounces.

I thought he was our second best midfielder last year by a margin - in the games he actually played mid.

Im hoping its because he’s still a little bit sore.
I know we like him everywhere and it helps fit others into the team but I just feel like he is a talisman in the middle.

Wow 2 weeks in a row.

He played 2 games. Off the ■■■■■■■ chart!

Kakos pace really changes our dynamics up forward and also around the ground when he pushes up, it also encourages others to chase and harass and keep pressure up. and he can cause turnovers.

On reflection how good was Tstas - he killed it. He is going to be a serious clearance weapon. I honestly thought he may not become a regular AFL player. But his kicking has improved. His hands and reading of the play is beautiful
