Not to mention you have to pay to get in (only essendon members have to pay 10-15 to get in. A rort from these tin rattlers whilst their memebrs get in free…

Yeah, well l am not so interested in propping up their desperate attempt to attract a few stray $$$s, and charging opposition supporters does fairly reek of desperation.

Also depends how far you are willing to walk. Footscray Market and Footscray Plaza have reasonably priced parking, but it’s a 5-10 min walk to the ground.

Signed back up to Kayo, bring on the 15th.

Hopefully not too despondent too soon this year. Crazy to think how guttered I was in July/August and how the idiotic hope is back in full swing. I’ll never learn.

More like 20 minutes. There’s a big free unlimited car park behind the vic hotel on Raleigh St which is probably closer to a 10 minute walk around the back.

You could also try to park at the Bunnings on Geelong Rd and use the pedestrian fly over at West Footscray station. That is probably as close as you’ll get by car but I’m not certain what if any parking restrictions there are there

There is an IGA on Barkly St that has a decent car park. About 500M walk from the ground

Looks like we suck. I wouldn’t bother watching the game, as we will suck.

a lot of the side streets are restricted to 2 hours because of proximity to the hospital. also parking in the immediate vicinity of whiten oval is always chaos on a Saturday because of the adjacent 4 court basketball stadium that run games non stop from 8am well into the afternoon. the iga car park, the bunnings car park and the middle footscray or west footscray station car parks are probably your best best. the middle footscray one behind the vic hotel is quite large, free and unlimited and a 1km walk around the back to whitten oval. i think that’s probably going to be your best bet @DurhamandCaldwell

You would hope Ess complained to the afl about charging Ess members (let alone general public) for a practice game…deadset rort by that povo club

2hrs Mon-Fri according to Street view. Maybe it’s changed?

Back to the regular programming!

We’re near by and our street is 2 hrs 7 days a week. It depends on proximity to the hospital, just something to double check

Has sold out

Is it true that the game is a sell out…?? I was hoping that I could take my son on the day and just pay at the gate :frowning:

Is there anywhere can we watch the game other than Kayo? Even a replay. Foxtel? Club website?
