I’m in NZ and sub to Watch AFL, a Foxtel OS streaming service, my package includes the Fox Footy channel. What time is kickoff EST?

It is live on Foxtel. 2-5pm. Channel 504 on my box.

Given Durham is training in the green no-contact cap today, he seems less likely to play in the first praccy against the Dogs.
Sounds like Jones trained fully today so should be available.
Not sure if Laverde is good to go as he was only doing laps & modified work last week, I’ve gone with Baldwin ahead of him & Hoare anyway - need to see how he goes against proper opposition and make a call on the SSP spot.

I wouldn’t be against leaving Duursma and Langford out in favour of Lual and Unwin.
There’s nothing to be gained in these sort of matches even Merrett I wouldn’t bother playing and look at different midfield combos

I’d be giving Martin lots of midfield minutes and playing Merrett across the flanks.
Even if it’s rarely used during the season, give them both a run at it.

Nah what i be looking for is how quickly we move the ball from HB (something the club has been working on all preseason)
Also our intent to tackle,pressure in trying to lock the ball in our half
If I see more of the same issues from last year ill be disapointed

Don’t put expectations on that defensive stuff in the first game. Last year they used first game for a run around basically. They stepped up intensity and method expectations the second game. I reckon this match will be treated like Saints game last year. Thst means you will be underwhelmed and disappointed with much of what you see if you have any decent expectations going in.

It’ll be a training drill for both sides.
It’s not going to be overly physical, and neither side will be going full tilt.

Yeah the first praccy game in particular is always tough to get a read on, clubs trial players in diff positions & the intensity/skills can be all over the place
