Disagree - a win wouldn’t be an “out” for the club, an excuse to avoid the for-real-this-time rebuild path. That path is happening now, no matter what.
A win now would be more like the taste of a reward for the youngsters who have been leading the way. It would pique their hunger rather than satisfy it. They need tiny glimpses of success and to hone their focus, rather than lose their way and their love of the game during long barren runs..
