That’s getting up there price wise. I don’t really venture past $150.
I’m curious to know if its worth it. All the Lark range are pricey but excellent quality so for an occasional treat its ok. Is a bottle of Wolf worth nearly 2 x Symphony?
It’d be good to compare. Alright, you’ve talked me into it.
Not sure about the “Made of” bit
The Lark Ascending!!
Recently gotten into tequila for some reason. Went through a period where my body would not permit me to drink spirits of any description (probably PTSD from sculling bottles straight) but I’ve recently reacclimatised myself to them.
Patron Silver is quite drinkable indeed, moreso than the Espolon which is pretty nice in its own right. Im no expert by any means, but have found them both enjoyable thus far.
Will probably be a lot more gone in both bottles after this afternoons game, however.
My poor liver after the port game…
Tequila is where it’s at.
Got this Del Maguey Mezcal that is, well it’s rocket fuel, but the smoky aftertaste sits with you for about an hour. Only need a drop.
Anyway. Question for the bat floes.
- how long does Khaluha last? I want to make a cocktail with some, but this bottle has been sitting here for maybe 15 years. Sadly only had 1-2 shots out of it. (Pretty sure it’s be fine)
Generally it won’t go off but it will lose some of its flavour and may taste bland.
Drinking spirits is the title of this thread. I believe I may be doing some of that before the afternoon is over.
We used to play drinking games with port at Uni. Geez that was very messy.
Blackberry N.ip was the one for us.
Also the Canada Bar had slabs of Crown Lager for $25 which was cheaper than anything else you could get at the time.
Canada bar that’s a name I haven’t heard for a long time. It was off swanston with the weird american vibe? That’s place was pretty dodgy.
Best thing to do is pour out a bit & check for mould & smell it to make sure it hasn’t gone bad. As a general rule it should be ok to drink as in it wont make you sick but it is possible it may have had some form of contamination. Clean around the top as this will often have bits left over that have been exposed to air & gone hard.
Never drank there, just slabs. But that are was always a bit sus, Cadillac bar was another one. $1 beer, $2 spirits
These days we pay $25 for a 4 pack of craft beer.
We do??
Half time. Time for a very large whisky.
Yeah.
Think I’ll make my Negroni cocktail with the dodgy 15 year old kaluha.
Actually the Coffee liqueur compliments the bitter orange. Maybe too much sugar though.
