Hi, AwFuL, hi!
If it’s true that revenge is a dish best served cold and if it’s also true that revenge is sweet, is revenge essentially ice cream?
Extremely unhealthy ice cream, because before you start it you have to dig two graves.
I waited 14 years to get someone back for wronging me. It was ■■■■■■■ glorious because they didn’t see it coming.
Was it like the opening scene from Dumb and Dumber To, or more the Eric Cartman style?
@theDJR given you are the resident boomerang expert around here. Maybe you can assist.
I’d like to buy a locally made boomerang as a gift to give to someone in Europe. Is there anywhere that sells these that don’t look like cheap ■■■■? Probably spend $150
What’s the attraction with hanging ornaments from rearview mirrors?
I have a bucketload of coins.
How many coins can I insert into those Coles Self Check Out machines?
Is there a limit?
Pretty sure you are only limited by how much coins the machine can store. Once the machine is full it will error put and won’t let you insert any more
Great.
Haha. I am rebelling. From now on, Coles are going to have to put up with coins for my small shopping expeditions.
We should make it a thing.

What’s your goal?
Purely aesthetic? For throwing? Does it have to be a traditional two-armer (or a throwing stick)? Does it have to be indigenous design/construction (noting that may not overlap with a design that actually flies)?
What’s your goal?
It would be a business gift. Doesn’t need to be thrown.
I’d like it to be made and painted in Australia. All the ones I’ve seen look very inauthentic

OK, some feedback
I posting coins into the Coles Self Checkout machine. It took about $1.60 worth of 10 cent pieces before it started to spit them back out.
Next time, I will try .05 cent pieces
Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.
Be careful of the ones designed in Australia then. They could be produced and decorated in a third country.
Used to see the Asian made boomerangs for sale down at Mindil Beach markets in Darwin, and they called them balanda boomerangs, balanda being the yolngu word for white fella.
Tourists bought them by the truckload unknowingly thinking they were the legit thing, while the sellers had a laugh behind their backs, thinking how gullible are these people when we pretty well advertise that they are not locally made.
