I was browsing Ebay looking for a new hoody for winter and found a place that is selling them (brand new) for $15.50 including postage.
Clearly it wouldn’t be a top quality garment, but how could they possibly be making any money out of that deal? Just how cheaply can such items be made in a third world country?
I go to do weights at the gym. I’m eating a good amount of calories and am ticking heaps of nutrition boxes. My sleep isn’t bad. I don’t set any records at the gym.
So why in the world am I completely stuffed after? I did legs last Tuesday night and was effectively hung over the next day - tried, cranky, didn’t get out of bed, had food delivered. My macros for that day were 208g protein, 268g carbs and 2737 calories. Pretty dusty on Wednesday too. Happens to similar degrees with other muscle groups. If I go in the morning, I’m a write off for the remainder of the day. No productivity or motivation whatsoever.
I’ve had blood work done to check hormones. All came back ok. And at 40, whilst I’m no longer in my 20’s, I’m not that old.
I don’t want to have to be out of commission for days after a decent work out. I’m a naturally lean build so is this just mother nature’s way of telling me not to fight genetics?
Do I need to eat even more? As in, 3500+ calories or something silly like that?
No, I try and leave one rep in the tank, sometimes two.
Usually I’ve been going in the morning so no, not eating near sleep time. The aforementioned leg day was done at night because I figured if I was gonna be exhausted it might as well be before I go to bed. Most of the calories I had for the day were before the workout - does that make a difference?
Melbourne is the coffee capital of Australia right, and surely one of the best cities in the world for quantity and quality of cafés per capita ?
With this in mind and the amount of choice that many cafés provide, I’m kinda staggered that I’m yet to see A2 Milk offered as an option in any cafe.
I mean they could certainly charge a premium given the increased cost of A2 over normal.
Why haven’t we seen A2 milk available ?
Business inconvenience of stocking a milk with limited appeal, and therefore higher chance of wastage ?
Not sure if it’s changed but Hobart used to have more cafes per capita than any other city and by some considerable margin.
As to the milk debate most cafes over here offer about a dozen different milk types including A2 milk. My wife drinks Lactose free milk and never came across a cafe here that doesn’t have it and most cities are fairly good but have found Brisbane to the be the worst
Nah, its a real thing.
Normal milk is half A1 half A2, and some people dont do well digesting A1 protein.
The wankerish element you are describing are people that believe dairy is bad altogether, and somehow almond milk or soy milk is the healthier option, which i think is absurd in most cases (obviously, there are people that cannot consume dairy)
