Dumb Questions Amnesty

Why does Kane Cornes talk like he’s got a boiled egg stuck in his gullet?

Because he has been known to have items of roughly boiled egg circumference stuck in his gullet.

If tomb is pronounced “toom” and womb is pronounced “woom”, why isn’t bomb pronounced “boom”?

Shaun Bjorn?

Can someone make bots make sense for me?

Are bots posting comments on social media/reddit/youtube?

If so, why? And how can you tell if something’s legit?

Yes, for a long time, and money.

The username always ends in numbers…

Yes bots post on all formats you mentioned.

The why? Is to often falsely increase online traffic or popularity of a post or thread, spread misinformation, increase revenue etc.

AUSGP Twitter/X had bots comment yesterday on “How wonderful the new ticketing/membership set up is for next years 2027 Aus F1 GP! Obviously used to soften peoples stance (as they new the new system is price gouging at its worst) but It didn’t work. Comments against the new ticketign system were brutal and AUSGP were made to look stupid.

The Backlash & The “Bot” Suspicion

When the AusGP Corporation announced its new program, it was immediately met with widespread fan backlash. Fans heavily criticized the system on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram as a shameless “cash grab” and a paywall. It forces fans to pay between $275 and $1,275 just for the right to access tickets (on top of regular ticket prices that range up to $1,295). Entire historic fan grandstands, like the Turn 1–2 Brabham grandstand, have been locked completely behind the $1,275 Premium membership tier.

Amidst this overwhelmingly negative reception, users on X and Reddit noticed a bizarre influx of highly positive, generic, or defensive comments cheering on the announcement or trying to downplay the price hikes. This pattern has led many formula 1 communities to conclude that the comment sections were actively being flooded with fake or automated bot accounts trying to manipulate public perception and artificially “cheer” the membership tier rollout to drown out legitimate fan fury.

Goanna’s drummer in the 80’s used to wear an Essendon jumper.

I can’t quite read the number on the back.

Certainly looks like a 2 is the first digit which would indicate Simon Madden.

Does anyone know for certain ?

From that era the most common numbers on jumpers/duffle coats for Ess would have been…

32, 18, 5, 27

6 & 1 (or 34) next in line.

Edit…perhaps Rotten Ronnie also

I think you’re underestimating the appeal of #20 at the time.

It was probably #27. But if it wasn’t and had a 2 at the start…

Edit: I see Koala has definitely confirmed.

I’m still batting for Budgie.
