Perhaps the AFL could chip in indirectly with some creative accounting, like debt forgiveness or helping with the tranche of GCS debt to banks payable in October. GCS owes AFL $1.74 million and AFL has injected money into staff salaries ( probably serves to pay Mark Evans salary)

Iā€™m not sure we were serious bidders for Dusty but IMO he makes us an instant contender in our mid/forward setup. There are some other high profile players that are OOC. Maybe weā€™re into them if weā€™re chasing the big fish?
