Puma’s Dreamtime guernsey has dropped. Looks pretty good IMO.
A Dreamtime guernsey with prominent sash. Don’t mind it.
Sometimes those guernseys look like random graffiti but this new one is pretty clean.
Integration of the sponsor logos has been done well in this case.
Best one we’ve ever had.
Not a fan of the indigenous or Anzac guernseys but they’ve nailed this ine
Kept it simple and not too OTT
It’s a great jumper, and I love the outlining of the sponsor logo in the white outlining with red dots, really sets it off nicely. The 2017 Dreamtime jumper I have and it’s a classic, this one is on a par.
I personally wasn’t a huge fan of this year’s ANZAC Day design, but Puma’s nailed the home, clash and Dreamtime strips so far. Three out of four is a great effort.
On an unrelated note, I’m surprised the club hasn’t released a 25th anniversary guernsey celebrating the 2000 Premiership. The 1993 and 1984/85 flags have received plenty of recognition in recent times, with Mitchell & Ness releasing several commemorative designs—but there’s been nothing for 2000, either from the club or an independent supplier.
The Gather Round clash against the Demons would’ve been the perfect occasion to roll out a one-off design.
The current home strip we had on last night is the best looking jumper we have had for years.
Well done PUMA
Went to the Bomber Ship last week. They have those classic 90s Bomber jackets with the red leather sleeves there. Only 2 sizes though, extra small and 2XL. Not sure if they’ll release these again. If only they had a medium, or even a large. Slightly too big is Ok, but 2XL is Ray’s Tent City for me!
Was the quality decent? They’re pricey
I reckon that Fila jumper looked rubbish. Worst thing about 2000.
Maybe we’re punting on being good in 2030 and having a bigger, more fun celebration then.
There were plans for 20 years celebration in 2020, but Covid got it of course.
The 2000 Fila jumper holds very fond memories for me, so it gets a pass.
With retro apparel very much in vogue, I’m surprised the club didn’t try to capitalise with a commemorative guernsey and some accompanying merchandise — I know I would’ve been interested.
This one was indeed great, and I reckon it should be our permanent clash strip (though I know everyone is frothing over our new clash strip)
For those that are interested, a Mitchell & Ness 2000 Premiership collection dropped this morning. Items are selling fast by the look of it.
Neither is black.
I don’t know how people can pay $200 for something like that.
