EFC clothing discussions (2019 onwards)

So it’s all sold out right now. Assuming they’ll release more at some point?

damn I was hoping to get one to wear for gather round

Not sure if it helps but I’ve just got the Anzac Day jumper from the Puma website - went with the youth sizing though as that’s the only lot available.

Red shorts should be default for that jumper.

Would be great if the club could come out of the stone ages and put out some decent alternate kits that aren’t entirely reliant on the sash

Please tell me those are available to purchase

Finally! Struggling to think of any teams we should wear white shorts against. Ironically, Melbourne is one of the only teams that come to mind.

So we are going to wear a predominantly red uniform against Melbourne.

Did you see Melbourne v GC on the weekend? Disgraceful.

GC should have worn their pink kit.

Yep, no thanks. We’ve finally nailed the clash jumper for the first time in our history and we’re already talking about changing it. Keep it nice and simple.

I’m not talking about the clash jumper specifically - I just think there’s way more flexibility for great designs if we don’t have to stick with the sash on every jumper.

While we’re at it the logo and branding is about 20 years overdue for a proper redesign…

No idea.

I wonder why?

They can’t. The ‘sash’ is required per the club constitution.

Sure.

Change it and get with the times.

Yep, we have the best colours in the competition, but are restricted by a Miss Universe winners sash.

The logo is one thing this club got right. I hope we stick with it.
