EFC Training 31 July

Training in cool but pleasant sunny conditions this morning. The energy level was upbeat with plenty of talking and an emphasis on good quick decisions and moving the ball with speed. It was also emphasised that at stoppages, if we can’t get the ball we must lock our opponents in at the contest.

Difficult to figure out who are likely to be our bench as in match simulation, while Steinberg appeared to be in the “Probables”, Howlett, Gleeson, Browne, Ambrose, Gwilt, Edwards and Pears were all in the “Possibles”. As many of you will now be aware, Hurls did not train this week and has withdrawn from the team and Pears has been added to the bench.

A few pics to go on with…

I swear this was gumbleton.

Smack, all banged up , legs covered in corkies , but still in the thick of training . Hmm.

Sensational bookends from a long way back…

The size discrepency is surprising. Carlisle (#standbyzimmer) is massive.

Carlisle has a very well developed upper body which is out of proportion to his far leaner legs. Laverde’s body on the other hand seems proportionately well developed for his age.

I believe the term is Strapping Young Lad.
