Reckon the demand on charging a car is a little bit more than turning on a LED light.
I agree with what your saying but Westfields aren’t necessarily going to upgrade there distribution to accomodate 200GPO’s when they only have room for 3 or 4.
yeah I’m not going to care too much between 6 or 3 secs . both seem pretty good to me . I think some of the cheaper brands like mg would be gutless. If I’m going to make the leap I want something a little bit toey
Most EV have quick acceleration, just look at the torque value and it give you a good indication. MG torque ranges are about the same as BYD.
I still like to flatten the foot on my 3 and scare the crap out of a newbie passenger. My grandkids love it, but they are under strict rule of not telling their Mothers or Mrs Fox, or I would be toast.
The thing I had to learn about an EV was that is so easy to speed, and the multiple fines I got in the first month on the freeways made me much more cautious.
I have Model 3 long range, and it is easily the fastest car I have ever had, and the nicest to drive. Mrs Fox has Model Y long range, which I have not driven much at all.
If you really want an EV, then do as I did, test drive as many as possible. I drove 8 different makes. Some were bog average, some were good, Tesla in my view was the best, though it took a while to get used to the control nearly on on the screen.
Seriously, I shudder at how there would be religious wars over it (some would be insincere wars, as with much of American politics, but when there is money to be made by taking a side…)
(Transporters would make downhill skiing so much better AND so much worse.)
I was cruising south down Mitcham Road in Mitcham and couldn’t believe I was doing 68 in a 60 zone. The fool thing made no engine noise!
I use the speed limiter, often!
Hahaha I remember watching Beyond 2000 when I was young and they were talking about flying cars back then, and that was the 90s. You still see BA Falcons, VN Commodores and the like on the roads today.
My boss bought an HQ Kingswood yesterday. People have a thing for ICE cars and techy people love a car they can do their own work on. It’s funny, I work with hundreds of electricians but only one of them has an EV.
