Tell your Bank that they are crooks and cancel the credit card payment.
It’s just a credit card payment though?
So many ways to start the chargers, who would know.
Plugging it in is the only way I know of.
- Plug in (charges straight away) which is normal for free charging.
- Plug in, tap RFID card on charger. Or tap credit card.
- Unlock charger via app, plug in and charge.
I reckon if you unlocked a charger via the app, and someone else plugged in the charger wouldn’t know. If you did this on both chargers, i also don’t think the charger or the app would know.
I agree even in my 2021 Mazda I only just realised how good the cruise control is. it automatically controls the distance from me to the car in front of me and even that can be adjusted . not sure if the new Tesla’s and what not can do this but surely newer more high tech cars can be set to observe the speed changes as you pass through lower speed zones and towns now too, or read road work speed signs and adjust
You don’t even need any apps if you sign up for Evie.
I just plugged in this morning in Camperdown and off it went.
You do need to set it up before though.
This is the reality tho for EV drivers. Can you imagine people parking their EV and blocking off a regular servo?
Go to charge the car and the app says 3 of the 4 chargers are available. Turns out that one is impossible to get your car into, two have been ICEd and there’s the Tesla…
Where is this ? Seems like a badly engineering charging place.
Reckon those ICE drivers are probably the types who want a confrontation as well as being stupid jerks.
It’s in Bright, Woolworths car park.
New Tesla chargers that everyone can use, including ICE apparently.
It’s right at the back in a farkin difficult spot. All the other Tesla ones I’ve seen look much more user friendly.
Also, I was surprised by how short the charging cables are. You can really only reverse in if you want to charge.
I have seen this in other places, so I got an extension cable. Actually have not used it yet, but just in case !
Can’t reverse in Bacchus??
You’ll need the latest firmware update, includes auto reverse parking
What do you mean ???
Replied in the wrong spot oops
My favourite things about my EV are:
Acceleration
Free petrol (with solar feed in tariff)
No $1000 services every year
People who don’t have one talking them down
I went to Sydney to test drive the Zeekr X and pulled the trigger on the AWD model.
It will replace my wifes Mazda CX-5 and I will most likely go with the Zeekr 7X when the Santa Fe lease is up.
how does it go ? build quality ? handling ?
Keen to know if you shipped the Volvo ex30 with the Zeekr. Same platform?
Jeez so many new brands , while looking up the zeekr noticed the leapmotor c10. I know tech is king in these EVs but is anyone doing a more “retro” analogue style dash? I still like tactile dials not just a touchscreen for everything
